Scott Douglass of Calgary, AB Claims Vancouver Island’s Ultimate Baller Title…

VICTORIA, B.C. April 19, 2012
It’s official – Scott Douglass of Calgary has usurped Mr. Ballhead of his title as Vancouver Island’s Ultimate Baller. Actually, usurped is not factual, in that he won the title fair and square.

Scott entered Golf Vancouver Island’s Ultimate Baller Contest on Facebook. Ballers were challenged to ‘get their ball on’ for an opportunity to be crowned Vancouver Island’s Ultimate Baller and win a week of golf on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail. Scott did just that submitting a ballhead photo of himself on a golf course with a colorful hot air balloon; but winning such prestigious title and huge vacation prize required more than that. Scott had to garner the most votes to win by getting his friends and family to vote for him. 61 votes later and the title and vacation are Scott’s – at least for the short term…

The vacation is Scott’s to enjoy with a guest, it is the title of Vancouver Island’s Ultimate Baller that Mr. Ballhead will challenge. “We’ll see how much game Scott’s really got” quotes Mr. Ballhead. One of the six rounds of golf Scott has won on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail will be played with the big guy himself – Mr. Ballhead. “Game On Scott, the title will soon be mine again!”
