Yes, you can transfer Golf Trail Passes to another person after purchase, however, Golf Trail Passes may only be transferred once. So, if a pass has been transferred to you, then you cannot transfer it again. (Questions about multiple users or the transfer process? See below.)
You may transfer passes to others through the Vancouver Island Golf Trail Pass after purchase. See FAQs in the Golf Trail Pass for further details after purchase.
What happens if I want to gift a single round to a friend?
The trail pass is not intended to be shared among multiple users, but we understand that this is a feature that many golfers have come to rely on, so there are a few ways to provide a second user with access to your card. The easiest would be to share the welcome email (received upon purchase or transfer) and have the friend open the link in the email on their phone. This should give access to the card immediately as it uses the direct link and ID. They do not need to add the pass to their device and can access it via their browser to redeem that single round.
Note: Golf Vancouver Island is not responsible for lost or stolen passes – if you are sharing passes, it comes with increased security risks. We can not provide reimbursement or support if a second user redeems rounds or offers that were not intended for their use. If you choose to share your card, you are doing so at your own risk.
How do I transfer a pass?
The transfer process is very easy! After purchase, you may transfer passes to others by using the transfer feature in the Vancouver Island Golf Trail Pass. It is as easy as entering their email address and the system will send them a welcome email to guide them through the acceptance process. However, Golf Trail Passes may only be transferred once. Please make sure to transfer passes one at a time to the final recipient.
Note: passes can not be transferred once the first redemption has been made. There will be additional FAQs in the Golf Trail Pass for further details after purchase.
When will I receive my Golf Trail Pass?
Once your purchase is complete, you will instantly receive and have access to your Golf Trail Pass. Please note that you can not redeem rounds or offers on your 2025 Trail Pass until January 1, 2025.
What payment methods are accepted?
We can process credit card payments and debit VISA/Mastercard payments.
