Both of Bear Mountain Courses made it on the list with the Valley Course landing at #80 (up from 89 in 2016) and the Mountain Course at 96 (down from 72 in 2016).
According to a 2017 Golf Canada/PGA of Canada facilities report, there are 2,051 18-hole equivalent golf courses in Canada. Which means the courses here represent the country’s top 4.875 percentile.

Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship Returns to Victoria September 11-17, 2017
PGA TOUR Champions and Pacific Links International have announced that the Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship will return to Victoria, British Columbia in 2017. The event will once again be played at The Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort & Spa the week of Monday, September 11th – Sunday, September 17th, 2017.
Getting wild off the tee sounds bad. And ordinarily it is. Wild drives that lead off-fairway into dark holes of rough and despair are generally to be avoided at all costs. But here on Vancouver Island, getting wild off the tee is actively encouraged. Of course, we’ve given it a whole different meaning, so tame that swing and prepare to expend any energy saved for some of these fantastically wild-off-the-tee activities in and around Victoria.
